What difference will it make if only one child is affected by all this effort and work.
There was a small boy walking on the beach one day and there were thousands upon thousands of starfish that had been washed ashore. A man watched the boy for awhile as he was picking up the starfish and throwing them back into the ocean. After watching for a while, the man approached the boy and informed him that he couldn’t possibly save all of these starfish from sure death on the beach and what difference could he possibly be making with all of the thousands of starfish dying in the sun. The boy picked up another starfish and threw him out into the water and looked at the man and said ” I don’t know, but I bet it made a difference to that one.”
